HUNGRY FOR SCIENCE?
Somerscience Festival 2024 on May 6th has so much to do, with over 90 FREE activities, you’ll want to stay all day. So don’t worry – we’ve got you covered!
PARKING – free at all venues (Market House you’ll need to use the neighbouring Catherine St car park)
TOILETs – at all venues
TRANSPORT – our free shuttle buses will be operating between Haynes, Market House & Caryford Hall/Ansford all day
FOOD – so many options! Haynes Motor Museum has its Café 250 and there will be outdoor choices with a range of food vans. Caryford Community Hall will have its kitchen open for light refreshments and the wonderful Key4Life charity will run its burger van. The Market House will host the local Macmillan Cancer Support charity for tea and cakes. Whilst Castle Cary High St has our supporters The George Hotel, Castle Cary and Burnt Honey which will both be offering food all day as will Teals off the A303.  And the White Horse in Castle Cary High St will have pizza and a BBQ too.
So no excuses not to stay all day! See you Bank Holiday Monday.

Somerton & Frome MP Sarah Dyke is set to chair an important discussion at the
Somerscience Festival on 6th May, with leading Somerset industrialists. She asks:

“Can Somerset become the Green Technology Hub for the UK and what would this
mean for residents?” What resources and skills are needed and what will be the
implications and benefits?
