goIT is a Digital Innovation, Career Readiness and Global Citizenship programme which introduces students to concepts including Design Thinking, User Experience and Prototyping as well as equipping them with the skills of the future! After the huge success of the Somerscience Festival in 2023 TCS are excited to be back with a brand-new challenge for students!
The Challenge: Design a digital innovation that sustainably improves mobility or transport in Somerset
You can deliver this challenge in many ways including:
• After school club
• Enrichment day
• Part of the Curriculum
The programme is open to all students across Somerset ages 9-14. Students must be in teams of 2-6 people.
Educators do NOT need a background in Technology or Computer Science to run this programme. This is a low-tech project; you will receive FREE training in the resources to deliver this in your classroom.
Shortlisted teams and their peers/classmates will be invited to the goIT challenge culmination event at the Somerscience Festival on May 6th, 2024! Shortlisted ideas will be judged by a panel of experts from TCS, and prizes given.
