Overview
  • Come and discover the wonderful world of stem cell technologies that are enabling us to
generate hard to study cell types. Scientists at the University of Exeter use these amazing
cells to generate brain cells including neurons to help us understand what goes wrong in
disease such as Alzheimer’s disease. They use these cell models to test new drugs in a more
translational setting, enabling candidate therapies to be more rapidly tested in the clinic.
Come and have a look at these wonderful cells first hand and see how we are trying every
day to develop new exciting, and potentially life changing treatments.
