The Brain - Somerscience

Overview

We will be presenting a stand as a collaboration between UWE and the Alzheimer’s Research UK, south West Network. We want to demonstrate how amazing the brain is, how it works (using the nerve conduction velocity set up), its beauty (hoping to bring a fluorescent microscope for people to have a look at slides) and what can go wrong (using an interactive ‘tablet based’ set up to demonstrate effects of Dementia).
