Fishtastic Science - Somerscience

Overview

We will have displays to show how scientists at the University of Exeter, Department of Biosciences use fish for understanding how to better protect the environment against pollution, and for helping to design new drugs to fight common human diseases. We will also have some interactive activities, such as microscopes to show you the tiny larval fish we work with, and also how similar fish are to humans and why they are useful for studying human disease. Scientists from Biosciences will be on hand throughout the day to answer all of your questions!
