Wildlife and Sustainability at Carymoor

Overview

Staff will be providing guided tours during the day to give visitors a chance to see the unique Carymoor site, 1.5 miles from Castle Cary. Over the past 25 years the Carymoor Environmental Trust has transformed 80 acres of a capped landfill site into a nature reserve with meadows, woodland and wetland. Tours will take in the sustainable buildings, wildlife and working waste site that make up all of extraordinary environmental contrasts of this amazing site.
Tours will take place at 10.30am, 12pm and 2pm.
